CFR 2023 Annual Christmas Party

Carthage Fire & Rescue held their annual Christmas party on Friday December 8th.  Current and retired members of the department along with their families enjoyed dinner and fellowship together.  Those in attendance enjoyed a delicious meal provided by Grace Church.  Each year awards are given for Officer Of The Year, Firefighter Of The Year, and Service Before Self.  This year, Officer Of The Year was awarded to Lieutenant Timothy Lytle and Firefighter Of The Year was awarded to Firefighter/Driver Operator Knute Bemis.  The Service Before Self Award was awarded to Stephen Moore with Moore Appliance Service Inc.  All three are well deserved of acknowledgement, due to there outstanding service and selflessness for the department, fire district, and community.  Thank you to all of our award recipients, members, non-members and families for all of your support and love that makes the Carthage Fire & Rescue all it can be for the community.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
