Membership
If you are a hard working, dedicated individual who is willing to attend monthly department training and work toward becoming a certified North Carolina Firefighter/EMT-B, then the Carthage Fire & Rescue Department is for you!
Membership Requirements:
1) 16 -17 1/2 years of age - Jurior Firefighter requirement.
2) 17 1/2 - 18 years of age - Six month probation.
3) 18 an older years of age - Six month probation trial before becoming a full member.
All members must live within 5 miles of the Carthage fire district line.
Come by the station Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm for an application.
